Wide Usage

The EVAP smoke diagnostic tester supports auto sealing tests on multi-systems: engine system, exhaust system, intake system, cooling system, fuel system, and EVAP system, gas lines and cylinder internal mechanical parts for cars, motorcycles, trucks, ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, etc.

Simple Usage

1. Put the machine smoothly. Add 20-30ml oil into it for first use. Connect all the accessories according to the following order: specific power cable – detector – smoke output tube – universal adaptor(with taper stopples or not) or other adaptors.

2. Screw clockwise the valve on the universal airbag adaptor. Insert airbag adapter into the pipeline under test from the front end, press the manual pump of the universal adaptor to inflate the airbag and completely seal the pipe junctions to ensure no air leakage.

3. Attach the detector to the vehicle’s DC12V battery of the vehicle: red with positive, black with negative.

4. Turn on the working switch and the detector begins to work for leakage detection. Depending on the model, the inside of the sealing system will be filled with smoke in about 2-3 minutes. Check the leak points and prepare a head lamp if necessary.

5. After the leak test, please remove the connections and reconnect the wires and pipes. Then clean up and put away the used tools and the machine.

Caring Tips

1. After receiving the product, please check whether there is any leakage or damage in time. If so, please let us know to help you solve it ASAP.

2. Turn off the power and wait for the equipment to cool down before refueling. For first use, please add 20~30ml maximum fresh tester oil. Clean and replace internal oil regularly.

3. Be careful not to connect the power cable in reverse. Frequent wrong operations can cause damage and shorten lifespan.

4. When testing the EVAP system, the pressure should be detected in real time and the switch should be turned off in time.

5. Avoid contact with smoke sensitive components during machine testing.

6. Do wear protective masks, gloves and goggles during the work. Work in a well-ventilated place.
