As I write this 10 weeks after my surgery I realize that I am already taking for granted that I can do all the things I was able to do before my hernias struck. I have helped my daughter to move, carrying boxes and furniture without pain or discomfort. I can get on the floor with my grandchildren and play as vigorously as ever, even letting them both ride on my back at once like they are riding a horse. It is very good to have my life back.
